Passenger Advisory: Hurricane Gabrielle – Potential Disruptions to SATA Operations

Due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Gabrielle to the Azores islands, flight operations by SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines may be subject to disruptions between September 25 and 27.

The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has issued weather alerts for the region, effective from 6:00 PM on September 25.

As a gesture of support to our passengers, SATA is offering flexible rebooking options for all customers scheduled to travel on September 25 and 26. Changes can be made without incurring penalties or fare differences.
