Comfort Class Meals
Your trip to the Azores starts on board with our meals inspired by our central destination! Fresh, high-quality products make up our menus, complemented by wines specially selected for you. We offer a dining experience in the clouds that will take you to the nine islands of this magical archipelago without leaving your seat.
On flights under 3 hours, you will be served a snack and drinks. On flights over 3 hours, a hot meal will be served, accompanied by an entrée, dessert and drinks.
Meals are not served on flights between the islands of the Azores.
Economy Class Meals
Depending on the duration, time and destination of your flight, your appetite will be satisfied with the flavors of the Azores, accompanied by a selection of complementary drinks.
Ask us for your special meal when booking for your flight through our Contact Center (+351 296 209 720), through the email address email@example.com or at any SATA Azores Airlines sales point up to 7 days before your flight departure time. We offer vegetarian meals, specific meals for diabetics or special meals for children and babies.
Note: Some types of special meals may not be available at all airports, so your request will be on standby until confirmation.
Fresh products from the Azores and recipes inspired by the cooking tradition of the islands were very present in the preparation of the new menus. On the menu, some proposals were inspired by recipes such as Alcatra from Terceira Island, Cavacas from Santa Maria Island, Espírito Santo soups found on all islands, cheeses produced in the archipelago, and the typical sweets that we find at the table of many families in the Azores.
Food allergies and intolerances
If you have a serious food allergy, ask for a special meal suited to your needs when booking for your flight, through our Contact Center (+351 296 209 720), through the email address firstname.lastname@example.org or at any SATA Azores Airlines sales point up to 7 days before flight departure.
Please note that, for operational reasons, we cannot guarantee that the cabin is free of the allergen in question, both in the food we serve on board and in products that may contain the allergen. We also cannot prevent other passengers from transporting and consuming their own products/food.
Before traveling, we recommend that you see your doctor and, if necessary, that you carry the appropriate medication in your hand baggage.
