Due to the strike called by the Sindicato dos Trabalhadores da Aviação e Aeroportos – SITAVA (Aviation and Airport Workers’ Union) and the Sindicato Nacional Dos Trabalhadores da Aviação Civil – SINTAC (National Union of Civil Aviation Workers) regarding additional working hours at SATA Air Açores, beginning on March 24, flight disruptions may occur. Due to the strike called by the Federação Nacional de Sindicatos Independentes da Administração Pública e de Entidades com Fins Públicos – FESINAP (National Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Public Administration and Public-Interest Institutions), which includes the Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera - IPMA (Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere), scheduled for March 23, there may be disruptions to SATA Air Açores operations at the Autonomous Region of the Azores airports.
