Weapons may only be transported within Portuguese territory. Certain types of weapons (except firearms) may be accepted for transport on international routes upon airline authorization and payment of the respective fees.
If you are going to transport any of the items below, please visit a SATA Azores Airlines Sales Office, contact our Contact Center (+351 296 109 720 or info@sata.pt) or your Travel Agency to book them in advance.
You must attend the airport at the check-in desk opening time so that all the necessary documentation is completed in time to ensure that the requested service is provided.
For safety reasons, some of our airplanes are not allowed to transport ammunition, so the confirmation of acceptance of this service may be changed in case we need to change the equipment scheduled for your flight. If there are any changes, you will be notified so that you can rearrange your trip accordingly.
