Due to the strike called by Menzies Portugal workers, members of the S.I.M.A. (Sindicato das Indústrias, Metalúrgicas e Afins - Union of Metalworking and Related Industries), there may be some constraints in the check-in and boarding procedures for flights to/from mainland Portugal and Madeira from October 10 to 12.
Although the minimum services generally safeguard Azores Airlines' operations, we recommend:
- Checking in online at www.azoresairlines.pt;
- Choosing, whenever possible, to travel with carry-on baggage only, respecting the limits set by the airline: Carry-On Baggage | Azores Airlines;
- Arriving at the airport earlier than the usual recommended times (Check-in times | Azores Airlines), both for check-in and boarding, to facilitate your boarding and avoid possible delays.
