- Plan in advance: Reserve your travel as soon as you know when and where you want to travel, and how many will be traveling.

- Be aware of peak and off seasons for your preferred destination: Fares are generally lower in the off season. In addition, some destinations have a "shoulder" season between the peak and off seasons, and you might find better fares at those times.

Clause 1 – General Conditions
These special conditions apply exclusively to groups covered by this contract and are not available to the general public.
Clause 2 – Eligibility
Group reservations are available only for a minimum of ten (10) passengers, except where prior authorization has been granted, such as for sports groups, depending on the sport practiced.
Clause 3 – Group Integrity
To ensure operational consistency, a minimum of 20% of the total passengers from the original reservation must remain, or alternatively, an absolute minimum of ten (10) passengers, whichever is greater.
Clause 4 – Subsidiary Application
For all matters not expressly provided for in these special conditions, the General Conditions of Carriage available at azrair.com/grupos/condicoes-gerais-transporte as well as the applicable legislation, shall apply.
Clause 5 – Flights
Operated by Third Parties For flights operated by other airlines, the reservation is subject to validation and acceptance by those airlines, particularly with regard to availability and applicable fares.
Clause 6 – Baggage Allowance
Each passenger is entitled to transport one (1) piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg, in accordance with the conditions applicable to the contracted route.
Clause 7 – Transportation of Equipment
If it is necessary to transport musical instruments, sports equipment, or other items, the group must inform the carrier at the time of the quotation request, specifying the type of equipment, quantity, dimensions, and weight. Acceptance is subject to flight availability. Information regarding special baggage must be entered into the reservation no later than fifteen (15) days prior to departure. The rules set out in the General Conditions of Carriage available at azrair.com/grupos/bagagem shall apply.
Clause 8 – Reservation Changes
Changes to the original reservation are permitted only prior to ticket issuance, in accordance with the conditions set out in the table sent with the group quotation. All changes must be submitted to the Groups Department and are subject to flight and fare availability.
Clause 9 – Name Changes
Name changes in group reservations are permitted without penalty.
Clause 10 – Reissuance
Whenever, after ticket issuance, reissuance is required for any reason and is carried out by SATA, a reissuance fee shall apply. The applicable fees may be consulted at: azrair.com/grupos/taxas.
Clause 11 – Refunds
Once tickets have been issued, refunds are not permitted under this contract. The ticket price includes the fare, service fee, and fuel surcharge, all of which are non-refundable.
Clause 12 – Fares and Taxes
Applicable taxes and surcharges will be calculated at the time of ticket issuance, based on the contracted route and Y class. The fuel surcharge will be communicated and accepted at the time of quotation. These amounts are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
Clause 13 – Group Splits
Splitting the group from the original reservation is permitted upon payment of a penalty of €50 per person. However, the fare will be adjusted to the fare available on the date the request is made. Group splitting may only be applied to one of the contracted flights, up to a maximum of 25% of the total group passengers, and no more than five (5) days before or after the flight to be changed. This split is subject to compliance with Clause 3 (Group Integrity) and does not apply to one-way (OW) group reservations or sports groups.
Clause 14 – Changes to Initial Reservations by the Carrier
In the event of flight schedule changes initiated by SATA, within the scope of reservations made through Direct Sales, the Group shall be deemed duly notified at the time SATA sends an email to the representative designated by the Group during the reservation process.
Acceptance of the changes must be provided within fourteen (14) days from the date of notification and may, in any case, not occur after the deadline of sixteen (16) days prior to the travel date. If the aforementioned deadline expires without express objection being communicated, the communicated changes shall be deemed tacitly accepted for all contractual purposes.
Clause 15 – Jurisdiction
The official and legally binding version of the contract is the version written in Portuguese. For the resolution of any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract, the Judicial Court of the District of the Azores shall have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
