General Conditions for Web/Mobile Check-in
1 - AIRPORTS WHERE THE SERVICE IS AVAILABLE
Web/mobile check-in is available on all flights operated by SATA departing from the following airports:
- Las Palmas
- Cape Verde
And for all passengers and destinations, except:
- Connecting flights from SATA Air Açores to SATA Internacional (at any point of the itinerary and provided that the connecting flights are already available for check-in). However, the web/mobile check-in is available when the journey involves only flight connections from SATA Internacional to SATA Air Açores.
- SATA IMAGINE members who have redeemed miles to upgrade to SATA PLUS class.
2 - WHEN IS THE WEB/MOBILE CHECK-IN AVAILABLE
You can check-in online from 48 hours(*) until 1h15 before your flight schedule time of departure and 3 hours before departure if leaving from London.
(*)Note: Flights to/from United States and Canada, Check-in online is available 24h before departure.
3 - BOARDING PASS PRINT
3.1 - All passengers can check-in online successfully, choose their seat on board SATA Internacional flights and, in some cases, print their boarding pass.
You will not be able to print your boarding pass in the following situations:
When travelling with the following fares:
- Student, all flights;
- Resident, presenting a work contract;
- Resident, when travelling with an infant;
- Connecting flights*;
If you have requested a specific service:
- Special baggage transportation;
Or flights to/from USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Cape Verde (due to specific procedures for these destinations);
Should you need a printed boarding pass to cover any formality, it will be available from 48 hours prior to the flight up to the check-in closing time. After this time the printing of the boarding pass will only be possible upon request via a SATA booking office or through the Contact Center. The duplicate document has an associated cost of 5EUR.

Whenever your boarding pass can not be printed, your must contact the check-in drop-off counter until 1h15 before your flight schedule time of departure.

4 – ADDITIONAL DATA – APIS (ADVANCED PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEM)
Airlines are required by law to collect passenger’s additional data for transmission to the competent authorities of some countries.
If you are traveling to/from USA, Canada and United Kingdom, you will be asked to enter additional identifying information during web/ mobile check-in process.
API information is mandatory, at passenger’s responsibility. If you fail to provide this information, you will not be able to perform your web/ mobile check-in.
5 – WEB/ MOBILE CHECK-IN FLIGHTS OPERATED BY PARTNER AIRLINES
Web/ mobile check-in may be available for flight connections operated by TAP, when included in your itinerary. In case of flights operated by other airlines, web/ mobile conditions may be different. Check TAP’s web/ mobile check-in general conditions at www.flytap.com.
