Data Loggers and Monitoring Devices – SATA Air Açores Fleet

1. Q200 Fleet – The carriage of any Data Logger or Monitoring Device is prohibited;
2. Q400 Fleet – Only models approved and listed below are permitted.

Shipment of Cargo Accompanied by a Data Logger on SATA Air Açores Q400 Fleet Flights.

For the acceptance and carriage of cargo containing one or more monitoring devices, the following procedures must be observed:

• Verify that the device is approved by SATA (refer to the list below); Indicate at the time of cargo booking that a monitoring device will be transported; Ensure that the device is properly packaged by the shipper; Include the following information in the Handling Information field of the Air Waybill (AWB):
  • Device type;
  • Model;
• Through the cargo agent, provide a declaration confirming that the device has been correctly installed, has not been tampered with, and is in proper working condition.
