Azores Airlines presents passengers with traditional delicacies of the Carnival season

On February 25, SATA Azores Airlines will present all passengers boarding flights from Ponta Delgada with a Malassada, delicacy that is on the table of many Azorean families (particularly from São Miguel Island) during Carnival season.

With this gesture, the airline intends to share the contagious spirit of joy and relaxation of the Azorean Carnival and to give a taste of one of the most traditional flavors of this time of year.

This is not a novelty for those who already know Malassadas but it is a gesture of courtesy on board, which is usually very well received, and which the airline has done to repeat throughout the year in the various festive occasions, to make known the local traditions and provide more pleasant trips in a more welcoming environment.

Throughout Carnival Tuesday (Mardi Gras), flights depart Ponta Delgada for Lisbon, Porto, Boston, and Toronto.
