SATA Azores Airlines has introduced IATA EasyPay (IEP) as a payment option for travel agencies in the Portuguese market holding a valid Portuguese IATA accreditation code.

IATA EasyPay (IEP) is a prepaid e-wallet solution that allows travel agencies to fund their accounts in advance and manage the balance available for ticket issuance.

Available on a voluntary basis, this solution provides an additional alternative to existing payment methods and helps simplify payment and ticketing processes through the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), IATA’s system for managing and settling transactions between accredited travel agencies and airlines.

By making this new payment option available in the Portuguese market, SATA Azores Airlines reinforces its commitment to providing travel industry partners with solutions that enhance flexibility, security and operational efficiency in their day-to-day activities.
