SATA Holding has received eight expressions of interest in the privatisation process of SATA Internacional – Azores Airlines. The transaction concerns the sale of at least 75% of the company's share capital.
Under the terms of the Tender Specifications governing the private negotiation procedure, interested parties were required to submit, by 6 September 2026, the Fitness and Compliance Form (FIC), a declaration of financial capacity and a declaration of beneficial ownership.
The documentation received is now being analysed by SATA Holding to verify compliance with the participation requirements set out in the Tender Specifications.
Interested parties that demonstrate compliance with the required eligibility criteria will be invited to submit a non-binding proposal by 21 September 2026.
This process represents a further step in the implementation of the restructuring plan approved by the European Commission for the SATA Group.
