In the first week of July, the SATA Group will launch a new series of training initiatives for travel agents in the Portuguese market, under the name “SATA Specialist Workshops”.
The initiative aims to enhance travel agents’ knowledge of the SATA Group airlines’ products and services by providing clear, practical information to help them recommend SATA with confidence and offer travel solutions tailored to their clients’ needs. The workshops will place particular emphasis on available services, the connectivity offered by the route network, and the Azores Stopover Programme.
Sessions will be offered in a flexible format, either online or in person, and tailored to the specific needs of each partner. They will include general educational training for professionals who are new to the industry or less familiar with the SATA Group airlines and their operating environment.
The programme includes a brief historical overview, an introduction to SATA’s products and route network, corporate procedures and policies, and guidance on agent support tools such as the SATA4Agents portal.
The “SATA Specialist Workshops” are designed to strengthen relationships with travel agents, increase awareness of available products and new services, and support sales through a more informed and effective approach.
Registration will be available through the SATA4Agents website, dedicated to travel agents, as well as through the in-person engagement initiatives currently being carried out by the commercial teams.
