The airline presented, on the second-to-last day of BTL 2026, another new feature that will be added to the portfolio of free services available to its passengers. The airline unveiled a new connectivity service that enhances the travel experience and brings customers closer to what they value most.
Under the motto “Even in the clouds, stay connected to the world”, the airline now offers 30 minutes of free online chat to all passengers, enabling communication during the flight through applications such as WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, or other text messaging platforms.
The service is available on Airbus A321 LR aircraft (Magical, Inspire and Peaceful), usually assigned to longer flights, and is part of a broader project to evolve the airline’s product and services. This initiative stems from continuous passenger feedback and responds to their expectations regarding onboard connectivity and convenience.
With this investment, Azores Airlines strengthens its commitment to innovation and to the continuous improvement of the travel experience, adding this feature to several updates implemented in recent years in cabin comfort and in the portfolio of services available on board.
