Furthermore, he began his professional career at Portugal Telecom (now Altice) in 2005, where he was responsible for planning and management control, Corporate Finance and M&A, and financial areas in several sectors of activity, including telecommunications, health services, shared services and financial services. Throughout his career he had the opportunity to participate in projects to create new companies, sell assets, implement organizational changes, explore and implement business development opportunities.

“It’s a great honor to serve as the Chairwoman of SATA Holding. I made the firm decision to stay with the company, alongside the employees and the shareholder, at a time when we are implementing the group's restructuring process and have started the public tender for the sale of SATA Internacional - Azores Airlines", says Teresa Gonçalves, new CEO of SATA Holding.

“Both processes are ongoing and running normally, which makes us feel calm about their future development. Regarding the operational context, we are watching an increase in demand compared to 2022, so everything indicates that we will once again set a new revenue record, which boosts our confidence in the future”, adds Teresa Gonçalves.
