SATA Group airlines - SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines - launched a back-to-school campaign for teachers whose residences and workplaces are far from each other and demand one or several trips.
With that in mind, SATA Azores Airlines offers an additional baggage allowance of 10 kg, or an extra piece up to 10 kg, on every flight operated by SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines.
The "Back to School Extra Baggage" campaign was specially created to suit teachers' needs and is available for trips between August 30 and October 15, 2022.
This campaign is combined with the airline's usual offer of an additional baggage allowance for all students aged between 12 and 26, who fly with SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines.
Teachers wishing to enjoy this campaign must present a document proving the need to travel between their usual area of residence and the educational establishment at the airline’s check-in counter. It can be a statement from the school where they will be teaching or other official document proving the recent placement far from their residence.
