SATA Azores Airlines is increasing flights to Azores Archipelago and between its nine islands

SATA Group airlines — SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines — will reinforce the offer of direct flights between Lisbon and the islands of Faial and Pico and some inter-island connections to meet the growth in demand.

At SATA Air Açores, new flights are available between Ponta Delgada and Santa Maria (on June 9 and June 13) and between Ponta Delgada and Terceira Island (on June 13).

The availability per flight was also increased between Ponta Delgada and São Jorge (on June 6 and June 13), between Ponta Delgada and Terceira Island, and between Terceira Island and São Jorge and Graciosa, on June 10.

Concerning Azores Airlines' operation, an extra flight will be offered Friday between Lisbon and Horta, starting on July 30 until September, and flights between Lisbon and Pico Island will likewise be increased between July 29 and September 2.

The reinforcement connections aim to meet the expected growth in demand.

Between July and August, SATA Azores Airlines intend to operate around eighty weekly connections between the Archipelago of the Azores and abroad, with flights arriving at the Azorean gateways of Santa Maria Terceira, Faial, Pico, and Ponta Delgada.

Meanwhile, SATA Air Açores will operate around with one hundred and eighty connections per week on inter-island routes.
