Azores Airlines makes an extraordinary repatriation flight between Terceira island and Toronto

The airline Azores Airlines will today operate an extraordinary flight Terceira / Toronto to ensure the return to Canada of passengers residing on Canadian and American territory, who are currently detained on Terceira Island.

The repatriation flight is scheduled to depart from Terceira Island at 4:05 p.m. (local time) and arrive at its destination at 6:40 p.m. (Toronto time), 11:40 p.m. in the Azores.

On the return, the airline will take a direct flight (without passengers on board) between Toronto and Lisbon.

This will be the second repatriation flight that Azores Airlines will take. On March 15, in a lightning operation carried out jointly with the broker Emptyleg and the Tourist Operator Soltour, the airline made an extraordinary flight between Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Lisbon, to ensure its passengers' return to Portugal and other Portuguese fellow citizens who wanted to return home.
