FAQs - Flight Retro claim Request
Do you have missing miles? You may submit a retroactive claim through your personal area at www.azoresairlines.pt. If you have any questions when completing the form, we recommend consulting the FAQs below.
1. What happens if I leave the fields blank?
If you leave the fields blank, the system will automatically display default filling guidelines, showing how each field should be correctly completed. These instructions help prevent errors when registering the flight.
2. How should the “Ticket Number” field be completed?
The ticket number consists of 13 digits. It must begin with one of the following prefixes:
- 331
- 737
- 047
These first three digits correspond to the ticket-issuing airline and form an integral part of the complete number.
3. How should I complete the “Flight Number” field?
The flight number must always contain 4 digits. If the flight number has fewer than 4 digits, you must add a leading zero.
Example:
- Flight 134 → should be entered as 0134
4. What information should I provide in the “Class” field?
In the Class field, you should not indicate the class shown on the boarding pass.
- The letter Y shown on the boarding pass refers only to the aircraft compartment (e.g. Economy cabin).
- For this field, you must indicate the first letter of the purchased fare class, as shown on the electronic ticket.
Example:
- Fare: HRBSCRD
- Class to be entered: H
5. Where can I confirm the correct fare class?
The correct fare class can be found on the electronic ticket, not on the boarding pass. You should always check this information before completing the “Class” field.
6. I entered class Y as shown on the boarding pass. Is that correct?
No. The letter Y on the boarding pass only indicates that you travelled in the Economy cabin, but it does not correspond to the fare class required for flight credit. You must always enter the first letter of the purchased fare, as shown on the electronic ticket.
7. My flight was not credited due to an error in filling out the form. What should I do?
If an error occurs while entering the data, you can contact customer support by email at sataimagine@sata.pt and include a screenshot of the error message. You will receive a reply to your inquiry within 72 hours.
