COVID-19 | Travel change
Considering the gradual restart of the air operation of SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines and all the measures implemented to mitigate the risk of contagion from Covid-19 in our aircraft and airports with the safety and welfare of our passengers as a priority, from 1 July all voluntary changes and cancellations of bookings and tickets will follow the regulation of the fare(s) acquired by passengers.
This option, valid only in the event of flight cancellations until July 31,2020, allows the constraint to be solved in a quick and simple way, always guaranteeing the possibility to enjoy the trip, in an extended period of one year.
This voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. After converting it into a new trip, you have 360 days to complete it, thus extending the benefits of the voucher up to a maximum of 2 years since its issuance.

The refund of the trip is one of the possible options for passengers with canceled flights. To initiate the process, please send an email email@example.com.
Considering the extraordinary situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the cancellation of many flights, we have to inform you that the reimbursement procedures have been delayed.
Flights suspension and cancellation
If your flight has been canceled, you can, until July 31:
- Schedule your trip for a new date, within the ticket's validity. No penalties or fare differences will be charged (except on code-share flights), only airport taxes, if any;
